Tapping Our Parental Power (TOPP) is a parent education and empowerment curriculum that equips parents to provide home environments that support their children's academic and life success while respecting the unique needs of every household.
TOPP workshops are best facilitated in groups.
Parents engage deeply with our flagship curriculum through interactive exercises and discussions guided by “Tapping Our Parental Power; The Manual for Creating Academic and Life Success for Our Children.” Graduates of this course emerge as Empowered Parents who:
Course Description: Parents explore the sticky subject of spanking in this dynamic, fun, and funny workshop. Parents uncover the why, when, and even how of spanking and its place in a broader discipline plan. This will not be a debate about whether to spank.
Objective: To strengthen the parent-child relationship by helping parents who choose to spank to do so in as healthy and thoughtful a manner as possible.
Course Description: Parents will explore concerns and fears about children’s lack of motivation and leave equipped with easily implementable strategies to gain cooperation in the face of a lack of motivation.
Objective: To strengthen the parent-child relationship by equipping parents with effective, family-building means to support their children through scary, intimidating, and/or pouty times.
Course Description: Single mothers will identify, explore and smash this crippling cycle that, when undetected, passes from generation to generation.
Objective: To strengthen the parent-child relationship by helping single mothers gain greater self-awareness, peace, and personal power in any situation and assist their children in gaining the same
Course Description: Participants will learn at least five ways parents unknowingly guide their children to fail in school while, at the same time, uncovering how to habituate them for success.
Objective: To equip parents with specific methods that help them prepare their children to do well academically and behaviorally in school
Course Description: "Family, Unplugged" is a workshop designed to help families reduce technology use and strengthen bonds through interactive activities and discussions.
Objective: To equip participants with practical strategies to foster quality family time, enhance communication, and create a balanced approach to technology use within the home.
Course Description: Participants will learn at least five ways parents unknowingly guide their children to fail in school while, at the same time, uncovering how to habituate them for success.
Objective: To equip parents with specific methods that help them prepare their children to do well academically and behaviorally in school
